Interior Renovations and Indoor Air Quality

Davenport Ridge Elementary School was built in 1972 and sits on a 16.9 -acre site located in North Stamford.

In 2023, Davenport was awarded, in the first round of funding, a grant of $421,566 in reimbursement through the State of Connecticut HVAC Indoor Air Quality Grants Program for Public Schools for a recent HVAC update.

The City of Stamford, with Stamford Public Schools, has applied for a State grant to replace the current roof which is at the end of its warranty. Additional interior renovation plans are in progress to improve restroom accessibility compliance and finishes in the the media center, nurses suite, and main office. These investments will enhance the indoor learning environments for both students and staff.
