Stamford High School Athletic Campus

The City of Stamford with the Stamford Public Schools has received three million dollars in grant funding from the Department of Community Development (DECD) and the Department of Environmental and Energy Protection (DEEP) to improve the functionality of its athletic fields for the Stamford Highschool Community. The project includes the creation of a new synthetic turf baseball field and new synthetic multipurpose field across a synthetic baseball field.

The new campus will improve the students access to improved on site athletic activities and the work will improve subsurface drainage, accessible walkways, the baseball backstop, fencing. The project began construction in September of 2023.

Stamford is an amazingly diverse city that represents the modern world in which we live. Going to Stamford Public Schools allows our students to become accustomed to cultures, religions and languages from around the world which in turn makes our children more mindful of the world we live in.
