Off-Site Parking Available for Westhill Students During Construction

The City of Stamford is pleased to share we have secured an agreement with St. Leo’s Parish to use a section of their parking lot for off-site student parking during the upcoming construction period at Westhill High School.

To prepare for the construction, which will begin in mid-April, on-campus student parking will end effective April 3.

Options for Student Drivers

During this transition, we recommend the following alternatives:

  • St. Leo’s Parking: Available to students with parking privileges through the end of the school year.

  • Bus Transportation: All Westhill students qualify for free school bus transportation. We strongly encourage students to use this service to ease traffic congestion.

A Special Thank You

We extend our sincere gratitude to Most Reverend Frank J. Caggiano, Bishop of the Diocese of Bridgeport, whose generosity and approval made this partnership possible, and to Fr. Javier Nieva, Pastor of St. Leo’s, for his support. Their commitment ensures our upperclassmen have a convenient parking option right across the street at 24 Roxbury Road. We are also grateful to the City and Board of Education officials and legal staff who have worked over the past few months to bring this agreement to fruition.

We hope this arrangement helps ease concerns by providing a nearby parking solution for students while also helping to alleviate neighborhood traffic during the construction period.

We appreciate your patience and flexibility as we move one step closer to a new Westhill campus!
